🌈 SENsory Academy – Indoor Holiday Club

Following the wonderful response to our SENsory Forest School holiday club, we’re excited to be trialling our brand-new indoor SENsory Academy this October Half Term! ❤️

Designed for children who benefit from smaller groups, a calmer environment and a more flexible approach to traditional holiday clubs, SENsory Academy gives children the freedom to explore, create, move and play at their own pace.
Our indoor venue gives us access to several separate spaces, allowing us to create different activity zones throughout the day. This means children can move between active, creative, sensory and quieter environments depending on what they need.

✨ What to expect:
🎨 Create & Discover
Arts and crafts, modelling, sensory activities, simple experiments, messy play and hands-on creative experiences.
🧱 Explore & Play
Construction, LEGO, imaginative play, puzzles, games, den building and open-ended activities.
👣 Move & Regulate
Movement games, obstacle courses, balance activities, music and plenty of opportunities to move throughout the day.
🧸 Calm & Cosy
A dedicated quieter space where children can take time away from the main activities, relax and regulate whenever they need to.
There is no expectation for every child to take part in everything. Children will be encouraged and supported to participate in a way that works for them.
❤️ Our approach
SENsory Academy offers a supportive alternative for children who may find larger or more traditional holiday clubs overwhelming.
Our sessions include small group sizes, higher levels of support, predictable routines and visual support, gentle transitions, child-led choice, regular movement and sensory breaks, access to a quieter space and no pressure to participate in group activities.
Most importantly, we want children to feel safe, understood, supported and able to enjoy their day.

📅 OCTOBER HALF TERM TRIAL DAY
Wednesday 28th October
As this is our first indoor SENsory Academy, places will be intentionally limited so that we can maintain the calm, supportive environment we want to provide.
We recognise that every child is different, so we’ll work closely with families before the session to understand individual needs and ensure we can provide an appropriate level of support.
